Dear all,
We are delighted to share this 9th issue of OM RISE Magazine on the theme of Culture, Spirituality & Business. The cultural dimension of this theme is the celebration of Holi, the Hindu festival of colors to welcome Spring. Holi teaches us the importance of unity amidst diversity. From a religious perspective, the vibrant colors of this festival are rich with symbolism and convey multiple meanings. In this issue, the authors have shared their views and creatively shared messages and perspectives relevant to our modern world.
It is a known fact that the success of any business depends on the leader’s vision; however, scholarly dialogues have also grasped the possibility and potential of ‘shared vision’, a collective meeting of
business and employees’ objectives. Inspired by the leadership style of Srila Prabhupada, we share an article on how selfless action and critical discourse in leadership style can bring enduring and unmitigated excitement, delight, inspiration, vision, meaning and purpose in the followers’ lives.
In the “Reflections” section, a few researchers reflect on their journey into the academic world of spirituality alongside their personal and professional lives.
Additionally, as in previous issues, we provide useful links, and new courses announcements. We hope you will enjoy and be inspired to apply some of the insights.
We are wishing you a Happy Holi 2022.
